ROSEMÈRE, October 24, 2018 – The annual gala honouring volunteers for their contribution to Rosemère’s community life was held last Saturday, October 20, 2018.

This traditional evening in their honour unfolded at Externat Sacré-Coeur on the theme of “The Great Gatsby”. The mood of the event was quite festive as some 300 volunteers accepted the invitation and donned different costumes, some funnier than others.

“Volunteers are the very heart of our community life. Thanks to their relentless involvement, our citizens have access to better services and a greater quality of life. Regardless of the organization to which they give their time, they contribute directly to its success,” noted Rosemère mayor Eric Westram.

The Town has more than 500 volunteers active within some 45 organizations.
