Mission
The mission of the Urban Planning Department is to offer quality services in the private sector, supporting citizens and applicants in projects related to their buildings on the lots it serves. It also ensures the preservation of quality of life and compliance with the laws and regulations under its authority.
At your service
The Urban Planning Department includes the director, a team leader, a secretary, three building inspectors, an environmental inspector and an urban forestry inspector.

Fields of intervention
The Urban Planning Department is responsible for:
- working with citizens or developers on construction and renovation projects.
- the management of by-laws relating to construction and quality of life as well as control of permits and certificates dealing with the execution of work.
