JUNE 4, 2018 - FINALIST CITIES IN THE CHALLENGE OF INTELLIGENT CITIES
On June 1st, the Honorable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, announced the names of the 20 finalists for the Smart Cities Challenge. More than 200 communities, large and small, across Canada have taken up the Challenge by bringing forward innovative ideas that have the potential to make improvements in their communities, in areas such as reconciliation, language and cultural protection of aboriginal people, food security, improved education and health care for youth and children, and affordable housing.

April 4, 2018 - The Town of Rosemère is excited to announce that it
will be entering the competition to submit a proposal within the Government of
Canada's Smart City Challenge. This cross-Canada competition invites
municipalities to present their best ideas, stemming from a consultation among
their population, to improve the lives of the residents through innovation,
data and connected technologies.
To support the Town in its application to take part
in the competition and increase the chances of seeing its collective project
materialize, the entire Rosemère community was invited to respond to the survey
that was posted online, April 4-15.
