Slowing down, sharing the road and thinking of others, it feels good!

The start of the new school year is well underway. Children and teenagers are out on the road morning and evening. However, a number of people are witnessing dangerous behaviours on the road, in areas often frequented by youngsters.

Road safety is a topic of discussion that can quickly arouse passions. Motorists, pedestrians and cyclists share public space, and are increasingly called upon to cohabit and keep an eye on each other.

Thanks to the financial support of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec and the Association des communicateurs municipaux du Québec, the Town of Rosemère is launching a road safety awareness campaign designed to reinforce good behaviour and avoid stigmatizing bad habits.

As part of this municipal campaign, the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-De Blainville will be present at various locations, including school zones, to raise awareness among road users.

A unifying, feel-good theme

Behind the wheel, on a bike or on foot, thinking of others feels good. It's good to slow down and appreciate the present moment. Sharing is good.

Let's be vigilant and cautious. Together for road safety.
