Saturday, November 30 - Food Drive in Rosemère: Be Generous!
ROSEMÈRE, November 18 – The Town is appealing to its residents to be very generous on Saturday, November 30, between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., for the traditional Food Drive. For the occasion, nearly 200 volunteers, including Town Council members, will be going up and down the streets of Rosemère to collect your cash donations or non-perishable food.
"During this holiday season that is just getting under way, I encourage all residents to take part in this major food and cash donation drive. For some of the less well-off families in the region, this little good deed for us makes all the difference for them. Let's give generously," stated Rosemère Mayor Eric Westram.
If you are not planning to be at home on November 30, you can prepare a bag and leave it in front of your house, and the volunteers will be pleased to pick it up. You can also leave non-perishable food at Town Hall or at the municipal library during opening hours.
Organized by Jeunesse Action Rosemère and Entraide Rosemère, in collaboration with a number of volunteers, the Food Drive will help many families in need.
