ROSEMÈRE, November 22,2018 – Some 150 volunteers, including the Town Council, will be canvassing door to door across Rosemère on Saturday, December 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., collecting cash donations and non-perishable food items.

“The community spirit here in Rosemère is very strong,” said Mayor Eric Westram. “During the holiday season, I would ask everyone to give generously so that underprivileged families in our area can enjoy this special time of year. Remember: every little bit counts! If you won’t be home on December 1, you can get a bag ready and leave it at your front door for volunteers to pick up.”

Donations will also be accepted at the town hall and library during regular operating hours.

Organized by Club Jeunesse Action Rosemère, local schools and Scout troups, and Club Option jeunesse, Club Jeunesse Action Rosemère will enable Entraide Rosemère to prepare holiday baskets for families in need.
