Rosemère welcomes a delegation from Formerie

ROSEMÈRE, October 16, 2018 On October 15, the Town of Rosemère was honoured to welcome a delegation of some ten or so members from the Town of Formerie in France. This visit came in the wake of a Québec-France student exchange program in which the Town participated this past August when it welcomed a student from Formerie to its team of employees.

The meeting with the Formerie delegation provided William Bous, the mayor of Formerie and Rosemère mayor Eric Westram the opportunity to discuss the possibility of other student exchanges between the two towns. Participants also got to address the various challenges facing these two towns beyond their different realities and issues.

“The Town of Rosemère is delighted to take part in these types of student exchanges, as they not only help deepen the cultural knowledge of French and Québec youths but encourage them to discover the riches of countries other than their own,” noted mayor Westram.
