Mayor's breakfast and Vélo Québec Conference – September 21, 2024

The next themed Mayor's Breakfast will be held on Saturday, September 21, starting at 9:00 a.m. in the atrium of the H.-J.-Hemens Public Library (339 Grande-Côte Road).

Two free activities are scheduled for the morning:

Between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m., meet and chat with the mayor and municipal councillors in a friendly atmosphere (no reservations required).

From 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., take part in the " Adopting cycling as a mode of transport - tips and advice" conference, hosted by Vélo Québec (reservation recommended).

Active mobility is on the rise, with a growing number of citizens opting to use bicycles to get around. To improve and promote the safety and best practices of this mode of transport, the Town is offering its residents the “Adopting cycling as a mode of transport - tips and advice” conference* hosted by Vélo Québec.

This conference demystifies cycling in urban areas and presents tips and advice on how to ride comfortably. It will also teach you how to equip your bike and avoid theft, and give you key tips for cycling in an urban environment.

Take advantage of our bike rack in front of the library to attend the presentation.

To reserve your place at the conference:

  • With the library: online, in person or by phone at 450 621-3500 ext. 7221
