The Town of Rosemère is pleased to announce the third edition of White on White, coming to Pioneers Park June 14 through 16. The theme this time around will be the movies. White on White is an initiative of the Rosemère Artists Gathering, with financial support from the Town, the Corporation de développement culturel et sportif de Rosemère (CDCSR) and several other sponsors. 

The White on White cultural event boasts a diverse array of indoor and outdoor activities, including a number of interactive workshops. Rosemère Mayor Eric Westram is delighted to see this unique event being held again this year and shining a spotlight on local artists. “Culture is a priority for Rosemère,” he said. “Something like this helps raise the profile of our community, both here at home and elsewhere. Our artists came up with this wonderful idea, and we are proud to once again be involved.” 

More than 30 members of the Rosemère Artists Gathering will be taking part in the activities, where white will be the signature colour. It will feature predominantly in each of the works presented and be used to emphasize the cinematic theme. The exhibitions, décor, shows and workshops will also make extensive use of the white on white concept. The fabulous Dinner in White, now a well-established tradition, will take place on Saturday. Tickets are on sale at the Rosemère public library for $45. Participants will attend wearing their best all-white outfits. Guests are also invited to dress in white when attending the free activities throughout the three-day event.

“Our goal is to make culture accessible to everyone, which is why we will be putting on a program that appeals to multiple age groups,” said Caroline Foley, President of the Rosemère Artists Gathering. “Besides the outdoor program, we are proud to be presenting an indoor art show in the atrium of the library.
