A new general manager at the Town of Rosemère

This evening, Rosemère Mayor Madeleine Leduc announced the appointment of Marc Rouleau as the Town’s new general manager. Mr. Rouleau will assume his new position on Tuesday, August 12. 

In addition to earning a degree in urban planning from the University of Montréal, Mr. Rouleau holds a graduate degree in management from Montréal’s HEC and a certificate in real estate from UQAM. Prior to being hired by the Town of Rosemère, Marc Rouleau had already acquired 22 years of experience in the municipal sector, having held various positions related to urban and land-use planning with, among others, the Town of Mirabel and the City of Longueuil, as well as serving as general manager of the Town of Mercier until last January. 

"Mr. Rouleau was the candidate who best met the vision of our Council members with regards to harmonious relations with citizens, culture, sustainable development, the environment and our heritage. He also subscribes to our vision of strategic investment planning for ensuring the preservation of our peaceful, country environment and outstanding quality of life. As for the latter, his training in the field of urban planning combined with his professional experience will be assets as we strive the meet the challenge of maintaining the distinctiveness that makes Rosemère such a pleasant place to live. We extend a most cordial welcome to Mr. Rouleau and assure him of our full collaboration,” concluded the Mayor of Rosemère.
