Heavy rain and frost: preventive operations and ongoing interventions
Due to today's heavy precipitation, which will be followed by a rapid cooling, the Town of Rosemère wishes to inform you that our public works teams have carried out various preventive operations, such as clearing sewers and some ditches, as well as snow blowing out main arteries to limit the risk of water accumulation.
Street cleaning, sand and abrasive spreading operations are underway and will continue throughout the Town. You can rest assured that our teams are mobilized and will roam the territory to ensure that the pumping stations are working properly. Please note that any necessary interventions related to water accumulations will be carried out continuously at the required locations.
Caution and proactivity at home
We invite all residents to be vigilant and stay on the lookout for accumulations of water and ice on their property: being proactive by focusing on actions to be taken at home remains the best strategy for dealing with bad weather.
