Green Fund

Recommended by the Civic Committee on the Environment (CCE), the Green Fund's objective is to collect donations to finance community-proposed projects related to the enhancement and promotion of the Town of Rosemère's green vision.

In order to make this fund grow, the Town of Rosemère has made a commitment, in 2021, to match every dollar donated by residents, up to a maximum of $25,000. With this commitment, the Town has once again made a concrete action to carry out innovative projects in order to protect the environment on its territory. A fund by Rosemerites, for Rosemerites!

So far, over $130,000 has been raised. This is great news for the Green Fund!

There is also an opportunity to submit ideas for green projects to beautify, green or protect your community to the CCE. More details below.

About the Civic Committee on the Environment (CCE)

In line with its strategic vision, "Rosemère, a proud, green and prosperous town," the Town of Rosemère established the Civic Committee on the Environment (CCE) in June 2019.

The CCE's main mandate is to ensure the enhancement and promotion of the green vision of the Town of Rosemère. It provides recommendations to Town Council on activities, projects or directions to adopt, taking into account the three components of sustainable development: environmental (air, water and soil), social and economic.

The CCE is made up of three citizens recruited for their significant expertise in environmental and sustainable development issues and acting in a volunteer capacity and two elected officials.

The current members of the CCE are:
