The General Manager of the Town of Rosemère, Mr. Guy Benedetti, has announced that he will be leaving his position on June 27 to take on new challenges as General Manager of the City of Brossard.

With over forty years of experience in the municipal and public transit sectors, Mr. Benedetti served as Rosemère's General Manager for six years. His rigorous management did not go unnoticed, as well as the stability and harmony he established within the organization over the years.

"Circumstances, a request and an exceptional opportunity presented themselves to me and my desire to return to an environment that I know very well guided my decision to accept this challenge. It is with great emotion that I leave Rosemère, and I would like to thank the Mayor and Town Council, as well as all the Town's employees, for the trust they have placed in me over the past six years," said Guy Benedetti.

For its part, Town Council would like to highlight the remarkable work of Mr. Benedetti during his time in Rosemère: "In his role, Mr. Benedetti has been able to carry out projects with diligence, openness and professionalism. We are privileged to have benefited from his extensive experience as General Manager, as well as his vast knowledge of the municipal sector. On behalf of myself and the members of the Council, I would like to thank Mr. Benedetti for his contribution to making Rosemère an enviable organization, and for having served the citizens so well over the years," said Rosemère Mayor Eric Westram.

The Town will soon begin the process of hiring the next General Manager.
