ROSEMÈRE, January 9, 2019 – The Town of Rosemère has reached an agreement with Groupe Vachon, the new owners of the land previously belonging to the Rosemère Golf Club, so residents can continue to take part in cross-country skiing on the site this winter.

“Rosemerites have been fortunate for many years to be able to go cross-country skiing at the golf course, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery,” said Mayor Eric Westram. “We are very proud of this agreement and grateful to the new owners who will allow cross-country enthusiasts to continue using their trails.”

The routes are now marked out and the trails are ready for skiers to enjoy. Fat bike riders are also welcome, although they are asked to proceed carefully and remain on the walking paths to avoid damaging the groomed surface.
