Preventing heat stroke

The Town of Rosemère would like to remind you of some advice from the Quebec government in the event of extreme heat:

- Stay hydrated without waiting until you're thirsty;

- Take a cool shower or bath, or swim in a pool;

- Reduce physical exertion;

- Apply cold wet cloths to your body;

- Spend a few hours a day in an air-conditioned or shaded area.

If you or a loved one's health condition worsens, or if you or a loved one are vulnerable to heat, contact Info-Santé 811 for an assessment and recommendations. In the event of a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
