Carnival 2024: A Rosemère Tradition to Celebrate Winter

Eric Westram, Mayor of the Town of Rosemère, is pleased to invite residents to the 2024 edition of the Winter Carnival, to be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., at Charbonneau Park. This eagerly awaited event by families and friends is the ideal place to get together and experience the joys of Québec winter.

Once again this year, the Town of Rosemère has a stimulating and varied program in store. Residents are invited to bring their sliding gear and skates to enjoy the giant slopes and skating rink, both set up in the park. Carnival classics such as inflatable play structures, games of skill and an introduction to snowskating will be right on site to delight the participants. Sleigh rides through the streets and along the Rivière des Mille Îles will also be back. Last but not least, the traditional taffy on snow will be free of charge for the many sweet-toothed, while snacks and refreshments at modest prices will be provided by the 49th Lorraine-Rosemère scout group.

"In a festive family atmosphere, our carnival features lots of activities for the young and young-at-heart alike. This magical day is an opportunity to fill up on energy and honour this season that has so much to offer. Put on your snowsuits and come celebrate winter with all kinds of fun,” said Eric Westram, Mayor of Rosemère.

The event will take place regardless of the weather, except in case of heavy rain. If in doubt, check the Town's website and Facebook page.
