Call for Applications for the Urban Planning Advisory Committee

Do you live in Rosemère? Do you have a keen interest in town planning, architecture, and land development and protection?

Are you interested in giving back to your community and being compensated for your service? Then be sure to send in your application to join the Urban Planning Advisory Committee. But hurry — the deadline is January 26.

The Town of Rosemère is looking to fill one vacant position on the Committee for a term expiring in July 2024 and renewable for another two years after this date.

The Committee is made up of two members of Town Council and four Rosemère residents. The committee is appointed by Town Council to make recommendations on requests concerning urban planning and land use.

Urban Planning Advisory Committee recommendations and opinions ensure that Town Council hears from elected officials and residents on planning-related matters. Committee members can draw on their experience in the community and address particular concerns in this regard.

In some cases, members may contribute specific expertise or reflect the interests of certain socioeconomic groups with respect to commercial development, environmental stewardship and heritage conservation.
