The Ride, Walk, Run—The Library’s Fun! program, which combines the benefits of physical health with the enjoyment of reading, is back again for a full year and was launched at the Rosemère library on June 1.

The initiative, which includes a contest, is designed to raise library users' awareness of healthy lifestyle habits. To sign up, all you need to do is have a citizen card and walk or cycle to the library, instead of using your car. Participants receive a loyalty card to be punched at the circulation desk every time they make a library loan. Each completed card (9 punches) gives you a chance to win a bike worth $500, courtesy of Sports Experts Rosemère.  

To encourage active transportation at all times, the draw will be held on June 1, 2025, so the program can be spread out over the various seasons of the year. The bike will be awarded at the start of the next summer season, giving the winner a chance to fully enjoy his or her prize throughout the summer of 2025!
