Activities for Fire Prevention Week
As part of Fire Prevention Week from October 6 to 12, and to raise public awareness of the need to protect themselves against fire hazards, the region's fire safety services will be gathering at Place Rosemère this Friday, October 4, from 2 to 7 p.m., in the central area. On site, information booths, games and the mascot Yvon Larosé!
Fire station open house
The two fire stations that serve our community will be holding an open house on Saturday, October 5, from10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drop on by to find out more about what it’s like to work in a fire department, take a closer look at one of the trucks and enjoy a guided tour of the fire station. Come meet our mascot, get your face painted, play on a giant inflatable slide, learn more about fire prevention and more!
The two stations are located in Blainville:
- Station 7: 310 Bas-de-Sainte-Thérèse Road;
- Station 8: 790 De La Mairie Street.
More details about the event can be found here. Your firefighters look forward to meeting kids of all ages and their parents. This an excellent opportunity to ask all your prevention related questions.
Fire department staff are also available to respond to your non-urgent enquiries all year long. Simply call 450-434-5201 or send them an email.
