Rosemère, May 14, 2018 – Mayor Eric Westram, in the presence of the President of the Rosemère Artists Gathering (RAG), announced the upcoming first edition of the Blanc sur Blanc / White on White event, which will be held June 1-3 in front of the library and at Des Pionniers Park. Last April, the Town was very pleased to announce its financial support of $10,000 toward the organization of this event, in addition to the loan of equipment and personnel for the technical aspects involved.

Mayor Eric Westram stated that he is very pleased to offer residents an event that stands out for its unique theme and provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase local artisans: "We are very glad to present an event entirely designed by our local artists. Holding such an event contributes toward making Rosemère shine beyond our Town's territory as well as toward the economic and cultural development of our region. I would like to congratulate RAG on this wonderful initiative and I warmly thank all the partners who have helped make this event so successful, and namely the Corporation de développement culturel et sportif de Rosemère (CDCSR); Claude Surprenant, MNA for Groulx; Groupe MD, Rosenbloom, Omer De Serres, Métro Rosemère, Linda Lapointe, MNA for Rivière-des-Mille-Îles; the Caisse Desjardins Thérèse-de Blainville; Sial, Bistro de la gare, Chocolats Suisses, Coiffure Nouvelle Vague, Benjamin Moore and Groupe Milette," mentioned the Mayor in his closing remarks.

A total of nearly 30 RAG artists will be taking part in this cultural event, where white will be in the spotlight: "Throughout the various works of art presented, white will have to predominate in order to highlight the theme. Throughout the program, white will also be featured, whether through the exhibitions, the décor, the shows or the workshops," explained RAG President Caroline Foley. The organization promises a full, diversified program, reaching out to the interests of various age groups.
