33rd Annual Rosemère en santé Race - 1 200+ Runners Turn Out for the Event

ROSEMÈRE, June 11, 2019 The 33rd annual Rosemère en santé attracted more than 1 200 running enthusiasts on a very sunny Sunday, June 9, 2019.

“The main goal of this family-friendly event is to draw attention to the benefits of physical fitness, but it is also a much-anticipated annual race for amateur and experienced runners alike. The use of electronic time chips means that the 5K and 10K routes are officially recognized by the Fédération québécoise d’athlétisme,” said Rosemère Mayor Eric Westram, who himself ran in the 3K.

“I’m a great believer in an active lifestyle, so I appreciate initiatives designed to promote and improve residents’ health,” added Mayor Westram. “We should see Rosemère not only as a proud, green and prosperous town, but also as the living embodiment of an active and healthy community.”

Since 1986, Rosemère en santé has brought 1K, 3K, 5K and 10K challenges to the streets of Rosemère. Participants can also take advantage of the opportunity to obtain health-related advice from the knowledgeable specialists available on site.

The Town extends its sincere thanks to all of the volunteers who were instrumental in making the event a success.
