2025 Carnival: Winter Fun for the Whole Family
Mayor Eric Westram is delighted to invite all Rosemerites to the 2025 Carnival, which is set to take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, at Charbonneau Park. Every year, families and friends gather together for this much-anticipated and vibrant celebration of the joys of winter. The lineup of activities will feature several favourites, including inflatable games, games of skill and an introduction to the basics of snow skating and fat biking. Participants are encouraged to bring their sleds and skates to enjoy the on-site snow hill and ice rink. There will also be sleigh rides through the streets along the Mille Îles River to admire the beauty of the surrounding area and breathe in the crisp winter air.
The 49th Rosemère-Lorraine Scout Troop will be on hand selling a selection of reasonably priced snacks and refreshments. Plus, anyone with a sweet tooth will appreciate the free maple taffy on snow, which will be poured out throughout the day. And a live DJ will be performing to keep everyone in the park energized and entertained.
“Every year, this incredible outdoor celebration is attended by people of all ages who take advantage of the different activities to make the most of the winter season,” said Rosemère Mayor Eric Westram. “It’s a fun and active way to enjoy the best of what this time of year has to offer.”
The event will be held regardless of weather conditions, the only exception being heavy rain. See the Town’s website and Facebook page for the latest updates.
