Flushing of the waterworks system: Rosemère invites residents to be vigilant

ROSEMÈRE, Thursday, May 1st, 2014 – During the months of May and June, Rosemère will be carrying out the progressive flushing of its waterworks system, throughout the entire territory. This will be done weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

When you spot crews at work in your neighbourhood, reduce your water consumption and avoid doing laundry during the above-mentioned hours, since water pressure could be low. Furthermore, at the end of the day, check the quality of your water and if it is cloudy, turn on all cold water faucets and let the water run for 10 to 15 minutes.

Finally, once the work is over, we suggest that you clean your faucets’ filters to facilitate flow and purge your water heater to reduce possible lime deposits.

Flushing the waterworks system is necessary to maintain good water quality. We regret any inconvenience arising from this operation and thank you for your collaboration.
