In the beginning of the years 2000, Rosemère counts a little more than 13,000 citizens. Its development is almost complete, with more or less than 700 lots to build. We now tend to improve the built heritage.

Rosemère also aims to consolidate its position as a leader in environmental matter. It also pursues its engagement in various programmes such as "A birth, a tree”, "Rosemère in bloom” and the "Secret gardens’ tour”. Its actions and their results urge the other municipalities of the MRC de Thérèse-De Blainville to follow in its footsteps in an avant-gardist harmonized regulation prohibiting the use of pesticides for aesthetic purposes, from which arises a sensibilisation of the citizens in favour of more natural cultural means. To live in Rosemère is to live in "A Town in harmony”.
