Active since June 19, 2004, the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-De Blainville ensures public security on the territory of the towns of Boisbriand, Lorraine, Rosemère and Sainte-Thérèse.

The police board has made the safety and wellbeing of citizens its primary mission. In other words, its mission consists in "maintaining peace, public order and security, preventing and suppressing crime and infractions to laws and municipal by-laws, and finding perpetrators”. To carry out its mission, the police board has grouped its forces into three major divisions: Constabulary, Investigations, and Traffic, Special Projects and Prevention. What’s more, the Board favours a partnership approach with its citizens as well as companies and community organizations, as reflected in its slogan: "Partners in the Community”.
